Swedish defensive power, Kim Andersson: A lot of good things could happen…

Sweden showed convincing performance at the start of the 24th Men’s World Championship in Doha by beating Iceland 24:16 (12:7). Only 16 goals of Icelanders speaking about the defensive level provided by Nielsen, Kallman, Karlsson, and of course, Mattias Andersson between the posts. That’s why the biggest Swedish star Kim Andersson was enthusiastic after the opener:

– I am very satisfied not only by the victory, but especially because we performed well and our goalkeeper Mattias Andersson had an outstanding game. We were a little bit nervous before the start of the match, but we handled the situation. It is too early to make predictions, but to be honest, if we keep playing that kind of defence, a lot of good things can happen here for us”
