The Swiss champions Kadetten Schaffhausen ended pre-season period with a victory in away match against the Austrian best side – HC Alpla Hard 32:30. Kadetten’s coach Markus Baur gave the chance to some young guns, Zoran Markovic and Luka Maros scored five goals each which put their team in front of the neighbours.
Kadetten will play at the VELUX EHF Champions League Group C, while Austrians will try to qualify for the elite handball competition through qualifications tournament in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) in the second week of September.
