Denmark won the second bronze medal in two competitions in generation 2000. One bad day against Germany in semi-final was crucial for the Danish result in Skopje, where they easily beat Portugal for the third place position.
The TOP scorer of the bronze medal clash was 19-years old right back of Danish Mors-Thy Handbold, Mads Hoxer Hangaaard, who netted ten goals and showed fantastic potential for the years ahead.
It looks that handball world will finally get a lefthanded back-line player on TOP quality level from the country of the reigning world champions.
