Uros Zorman criticizes referees: Not the level of Olympic games
Slovenian coach Uros Zorman was extremely unhappy with level of refeering by Cyech pair Novotny Horacek in the semi-final against Denmark:
– To be very brief, the judging throughout the match was not at the level of the Olympic Games, let alone the semi-finals of such a competition,” was the disappointed selector Uroš Zorman, who then thought a little and continued: “All these little things simply went to their side, equally happened in the end. I feel sorry for the boys. The fact is that handball will never, ever be a global sport because of things like this. Here, the judging criteria and rules are all too loose from stopping the clock, fouls, passivity… But I wouldn’t even talk about it, because I won’t discover hot water, nor will anything change because of it. As long as the rules are as they are, our sport will be where it is,” Zorman was clear.
