Fairy tale in Zagreb is over! Veselin Vujovic is no longer coach of the Croatian champions whom he led twice until the VELUX EHF Champions League quarter-finals! Four defeats in a row at the start of the season were decisive in such a conclusion of successful handball story in Croatian capital.
Vujovic was in Zagreb since early season 2014/2015 when he replaced Boris Dvorsek.
A lot of good results, big scalps of the best European teams are behind PPD Zagreb in Vujovic era. He also played twice at SEHA GAZPROM Final 4 tournaments.
However, teams looks lost at the start of the current season. Home defeats against PICK Szeged and Meshkov Brest, but also easy capitulations in Sweden against IFK Kristianstad and defeat in Celje, were signals that something has to  be changed.
