A younger of brother Lijewski, Krzysztof (27) had shoulder surgery and he is doubtful for the World Champioship in Sweden (13-30 January, 2011). Recovery treatment will take at least three weeks, so it is still unclear, whether a HSV Hamburg right back will be ready to help his national teammates on the way to the third consecutive medal at World stage (WC 2007 – Silver, WC 2009 – Bronze).
