Following departure of Al Jazira`s Ali Zein to the French Superleague side Aix en Provence, the UAE champion is strengthening its squad by making transfer in the opposite direction. Serbian right back Predrag Vejin, who spent last season in French US Dunkerque, is going to join the winner of 2015/16 UAE League and Cup for the forthcoming season.
23-year old Vejin, who established himself as regular member of the Serbian National Team, proved his class in 2014/15 season as top scorer of ASOBAL Liga side Ademar Leon, scoring 140 goals in the championship. Securing signature of player from the top league shows clear ambition of “Pride of Abu Dhabi” to fight strongly to defend the double crown in the UAE.
