African IHF Trophy in Kenya

From 18 to 22 March, Nairobi in Kenya will organize the Zone Vb Tournament from the African IHF Trophy. Unlike previous editions in the competition cycle 2010/2011, this time the tournament will be held combined with men’s and women’s respectively. Four other nations alongside Kenya will compete on a round robin basis to determine which of these countries will represent the Zone at the Continental Phase of the IHF Trophy for Africa. Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda will be fighting the host and the organizer for the precious spot that leads to the continental tournament.

As it is already established practice, the IHF will hold courses for both coaches and referees during the competitions. The course for the referees will be conducted by Mr Cherif N´Diaye (SEN) and for the coaches by Prof. Dr Khaled Hammouda (EGY) on behalf of the International Handball Federation. Dr Lanre Glover (NGR), 1st Vice President of the CAHB, will represent the CAHB at this significant event. Please see below the full match schedule for the competition.
