Arpad Sterbik can’t get Serbian sports pension

Serbian Ministry of Sport dismissed demands of Spanish goalkeeper Arpad Sterbik for sports pension. Serbia is one of the countries where all athletes in Olympic sports discipline, who won the medals at European, World Championship or Olympic Games, receiving salaries by the goverment from the age of 35.

One of them could be Arpad Sterbik, who was Yugoslav (Serbian) goalkeeper until 2007. He won two bronze medals at WCh 1999 and 2001. His salary could be about 600-650 EUR per month. Serbian officials announced that Sterbik doesn’t fulfill all the necessary conditions for that…
