  • I am very happy that we can all meet here today announcing such good news – said the President of KS VIVE Handball Kielce SA, Bertus Servaas– Here, in Hala Legionów, the heart of our club, where, together with the team and fans, we experienced many emotions. The positive and the negative, but most importantly, we’ve always been together. Behind us is a very difficult period, which – I emphasize again – we survived together, and I am very grateful to everyone who supported us in any way during this time. I am bursting with pride and joy that today, by signing the contract with Van Pur SA, we are finishing this stage. Thank you very much, Mrs. President for the beautiful words, it is great that the club is perceived in this way by our new Sponsor. Sponsor and Partner who extended a helping hand to us, appreciating the importance of this club for Polish sport, handball and our city. I believe that by joining two cities, Łomża and Kielce, we will create a beautiful project, a great team, in the coming seasons,

The economic situation related to the coronavirus epidemic meant that in June the team lost its long-term sponsor, which made the maintenance of the current composition questionable. At the end of July, cooperation with the second title sponsor – PGE was also completed.

We appreciate the enormous contribution of President Bertus Servaas to the consistent building of the club’s power for so many years. Therefore, together we decided to leave the VIVE brand in the team name – respected by fans, perfectly associated and with an established position in the sports world. It is our way of honoring the team’s successes and building a new history for the team based on its rich tradition. We are very happy that we can join forces at such a special moment for the team. We believe that together we will make ŁOMŻA VIVE Kielce, one of the best teams in Europe, fight for further triumphs in the Champions League – added Jagoda Iwańczuk.
