Croatian comeback for win over Iceland


Croatia won the first match in Main Round against Iceland 23:22 (10:12) after great battle until the last second of the clash in Budapest. Playmake Ante Gadza scored the winning goal for the team who were 5 goals down in the first half (5:10), but then had +5 (19:14) 15 minutes before the final whistle.
Gudmundur Gudmundsson’s boys made turnover on 22:21 in 52th minute, however, they couldn’t keep it until the end and endanger chances for playing at semi-final.
