CZECH TROUBLES: Horak and Sklenak won’t play against Serbia for Qatar 2015!

Czech Republic won’t be able to count on two experienced NT member, left back Pavel Horak and playmaker Tomas Sklenak in the important clashes with Serbia for the placement at World Championship 2015 in Qatar. Both players have knee injuries and must finish seasons two months before the end. Sklenak will have to go on surgery which will keep him out of the court for at least six months, while Fuchse Berlin left back, Horak, will be ready for the new season after summer break.

Serbia could be a difficult challenge without these players. Interesting fact is that two teams will face eachother fourth time in Play-Off matches for WCh in the last five qualifications since 2006. Serbia leads 2:1.

Czech Republic will get a new head-coaches from July 1.

Problem of CZ NT is that they still can’t image their team with no older generation.Sometimes chance get younger when older are injured. Now it is time for younger to replace them.Kasal for Horak, Babak for Sklenak. But not only those position, Czech has substitutes on any position.Keeper Mrkva has no good season-Malina from Tremblay waiting for chance, pivots Hanisch and Petrovsky knocking on their NT door, left wings Hrstka and Kotrc, right wings Cip and Jurka. With Jicha like a leader, Horak Radek like defend substitute for Kubes, Czech has future.Only problem is right back position where Stehlik, Strzinek and Sulc can’t be someone who can answer on quality question. But there is an young Kasparek who grow up extrimely fast and who is, with Kasal, real future of even european handball.Bad thing for CZ handball is NT coach(es). With better choise, young generation of CZ NT should be in TOP 3 in next years.
