Dagur Sigursson extends contract with Fuchse for two more years

Fuchse Berlin has been the hot team in this Toyota Bundesliga season as they have 6 wins out of 6 games. One of the reasons for this is their coach, the Islandese Dagur Sigurdsson. He arrived in 2009, and transformed the ‘Foxes’ into a respectable team with possible high-ending position ambitions this year. Now they binded him to stay in Berlin for two more years by offering him attractive contract, which expires in 2013.

The satisfaction was mutual, as both Dagur and managing director Bob Hanning were delighted with the prolongation of the contract. Dagur said that “he was happy to stay in Berlin more, and that this team can even make bigger successes”, while Mr Henning added that “its wonderful that Dagur is staying, and that now they can in peace concentrate on the future tasks”.
