Dragana Cvijic gets “green light”: I am like a newborn – Norwegian girls are No.1

The Serbian line-player Dragana Cvijic will be able to help his team at upcoming Women’s EHF EURO 2018. The 28-years powerful lady of CSM Bucharest got injured during training session in early preparation for the tournament in France, but at the end of few long days, diagnosis is positive.

“I was like a newborn when doctors told me that I will be able to play in France. I wasn’t so optimistic because my previous knee injuries, but thanks God, everything is OK”, said Cvijic in video-talk for Balkan-Handball.com.

“Norway is No.1 in my opinion. France are also there, but I give advance to Norwegian girls. Russia has also dangerous team, Dutch girls are very good despite they will play without two line-players”.

Cvijic commented also decision of Yvett Broch to stop career…

  • I can understand her decision, of course, but we aren’t the same. Handball is my life and I couldn’t stop just like that in one moment – said Cvijic.

Serbia will play in Group A in Nantes with Poland, Sweden and Denmark.
