A tough match for the third place was seen in Herning, but at the end, one team’s member had a smile on their faces. For the first time, Romania won the bronze after very uncertain match with home team, Denmark 16:15 (9:7). Spectators all around Europe watched a match with a lot of technical errors, but also, fantastic defense and heroic battle between tired girls, for whom this was a eighth match in 13 days.
Romanian “princess”, Christina Neagu scored six goals and was a “key advantage” of her team, after fantastic goalkeeper Talida Tolnai, who had 53% of saves and grabbed a chance after injury of the first goalkeeper, Ungureanu.
