He surprised handball world by decision to finish his proffesional career at age 27, but Swedish star Kim Ekdahl Du Rietz, after only eight months, realized that life isn’t so colorful without handball. After trip around the world, powerful shooter decided to get back to the handball rhythm and signed contract with his previous team – where he won DKB Bundesliga title – Rhein Neckar Lowen.
Du Rietz will stay in Mannheim until end of the season. He will help his team-mates to achieve the highest goals in three competitions DKB Bundesliga, German Cup and VELUX EHF Champions League.
