Gensheimer decides to play in France: That would be a father’s wish

Germany will have 15 players in the roster for the first match against Hungary (17.45). The team’s captain Uwe Gensheimer is “wieder an Bord”! The 30 years-old left wing suffered lost of father on Sunday, but after few days of silence he decided to join his team-mates in Rouen and start big event regulary:

  • I will play at World Championship in France. I know that my father would like that”, said Uwe, who also stated that media understand his wish to stay without comments during tournament.

His possible team-mate in France (Holger Glandorf is “first reserve”) was in the same situation before Men’s EHF EURO 2008 in Norway, but he also decided to join national team.
