The draw was made today for the quarter-finals of the German Cup. The draw saw Flensburg taking on Rhein-Neckar Lowen in what is definitely the most interesting match-up, while HSV Hamburg will be having hard task to advance as they got Hannover-Burgdorf, a team on the rise. Somewhat easier job for MT Melsungen and THW Kiel, which were paired against ThSV Eisenach and GWD Minden respectively. Eisenach is the only team in the quarter-finals that plays in the second league.

SG Flensburg-Handewitt – Rhein-Neckar Löwen
The games are scheduled for the 5th and 6th of February 2013.
