HSG Wetzlar to sign Metalurg’s “refugee” – Vladan Lipovina

One of the best young players on the right back position in Europe Vladan Lipovina (20) was a free agent for only one day, since he ended contract with RK Metalurg Skopje by mutual agreement. Talented lefthander came to Skopje last summer from Spanish Quenca with an idea to make big step in professional career in work with Lino Červar, but all went bad with the money and relationship of all the players with Croatian coach.

RK Metalurg’s players are in boycott, they don’t practice, while on the other side, Lino Červar and club’s owner Minčo Jordanov have only a few juniors on the training sessions. Today is the last day for some deal between Management and suspended players because until midnight RK Metalurg have to declare squad for the upcoming match in EHF Champions League against La Rioja.

If they don’t, consequences will be tragic.

One thing is sure, Vladan Lipovina won’t be a part of the team. He stated on his FB profile that “he left Metalurg”, a few hours before he was promoted as a new member of HSG Wetzlar.

That isn’t the only RK Metalurg’s “refugee” for whom is HSG Wetzlar interested. Another two names are Vuko Borozan (20, left back) and Luka Cindric (22, playmaker), two hot prospect for the future…
