Hungary beat Croatia – Group winner to be decided in “Arena Zagreb”

In derby match of Thursday, Hungary beat Croatia 20:18 (8:7) in tight match in Veszprem after five years. Hero of big win for domestic team was Kornely Nagy with 5 goals and the most important winning one in the last attack (5/5). Strong Hungarian defense totally disabled Croatian back line. Domagoj Duvnjak was bad, he finished match with only one goal (1/7) and there were no other backs to fil that gap in team of Slavko Goluza…

Top scorer was Gabor Csaszar with six goals, while goalkeepers were also good – Mikler had 15 and Alilovic 12 saves…
