The defeat in the semi-final of the SEHA League had its consequences for the RK Zagreb coach, Ivica Obrvan. The RK Zagreb management decided that it was humiliating to be defeated in the semi-final by a realistically weaker club, and made clear that it’s time to change something. The first change is Ivica Obrvan. He is out, and his place will be filled by the national team coach, Slavko Goluza. The other change is that some players will be fined, so they are aware that they need to raise their level of play in the upcoming games against RK Nexe and THW Kiel.
Josip Guberin, RK Zagreb club director had his explanation clear: “The third place in the SEHA league is a failure, which also brought financial loss to the club. It was logical to replace Obrvan”
