Manuel Strlek rejoins RK Zagreb

Where it all began, it will also come to an end. Manuel Strlek will return to Zagreb this summer, rejoining the club after 14 years spent away from the Croatian capital.

The 38-year-old left wing was part of Kielce during the club’s most successful era, including the 2016 EHF Champions League triumph, before moving on to Veszprém. Over the last three seasons, he has played for Nexe, with a stint at Füchse Berlin, where he also lifted the Bundesliga trophy in 2025.

Strlek was a long-time member of the Croatian national team, winning as many as five medals with Croatia.

He will put on the Zagreb jersey once again in the summer of 2026.
