Kielce’s hero Vladimir Cupara: We couldn’t even dream about +10

PGE Vive Kielce made fantastic advantage in the first match of the VELUX EHF Champions League quarter-final against PSG Handball – 34:24 (16:11). Team of Talant Dujshebaev raised up form after the first part of the season in which rumours about financial status of the club, put pressure off in question of Final4 in Cologne.

The Serbian goalkeeper Vladimir Cupara was Man of the Match in the first 60 minutes of the clash with the French champions. His 14 saves helped team a lot…

  • It was an incredible match. We can’t believe in what we made at the end. We had a good preparation for PSG Handball, but we couldn’t even dream about +10 at thr end. We were more eager, every player gave all what he has, so some balls came to our hands after bouncing. We must stay out of euphoria, our heads need to be clear. We didn’t qualify, if we want, we have to play even better match in Paris – said Cupara for Balkan-Handball.com
