Last home match of Jonas Kallman: I played with wonderful people

One big career coming to the end. Legendary Swedish left wing Jonas Kallman played his last home match in front of the fans in Szeged. The three time EHF Champions League winner with BM Ciudad Real (2002-2013), 40 years old playing his eighth season at MOL Pick Szeged.

  • First of all, thanks to Veszprém, we played a great match, it was worthy of the final. The atmosphere was wonderful, we were finally able to relive this on the field. It always helps a lot, after a year it was an almost indescribable feeling. We played well. We won by three goals, but there is another rematch against a dangerous team. If we think that today’s difference will be enough for the championship title, it is a mistake, because we have to win in Veszprém. Now the rest is the main role in the evening, then we analyze our mistakes and play an even better meeting on Saturday where a sixty minute war awaits us. I have been a member of the club for a very long time, my entire career has been going on for 20 years. I played with wonderful people, like in Spain against David Davis. I’ve won many titles on several teams, but I’ve spent important years here. My children speak almost better Hungarian than Swedish – said Kallman.
