LIKE A TRADITION: Veszprem stay unbeatable for PSG!

Nikola Karabatić and Co. will have to keep a good work in order to defeat MKB MVM Veszprem in the upcoming season. In the first „big match“ of the season with the new coach Zvonimir Noka Serdarusic, PSG Handball suffered the first defeat against Hungarian best team – 30:31 at the final of Euroturnoi in Strasbourg. The EHF CL runners-up staying unbeatable for the French champions, who suffered two defeat in a row in the last two seasons only a step ahead of the EHF Champions League F4 in Cologne.

Slovenian right wing Gašper Marguč (7) and the MVP of the tournament, Momir Ilić (6), where the TOP scorers among the winners, while Nikola Karabatić and Mikkel Hansen netted seven each for defeated squad ahead of Daniel Narcisse, who scored six.

Roland Mikler beat Thierry Omeyer with 13 – 9 in saves.

PSG Handball were more than dominant in the group where they crushed Spanish La Rioja 44:31 and Kadetten 36:24, while Veszprem overplayed Chambery 32:26 and Montpellier 32:26.

The third place won Montpellier by beating Swiss champions Kadetten Schaffhausen 38:26, while the fifth finished Naturhouse La Rioja after win over Chambery 30:30 (penalty 4:1).
