Ljubomir Vranjes will be the only Swedish in Stockholm during the final weekend of the Men’s EHF EURO 2020. The Slovenian national team coach made surprisingly good result with the team which overtook only 20 days before the start of the tournament after Slovenian Handball Federation parted ways with Veselin Vujovic.
- I feel good, I am mostly happy because of my players, they will participate at semi-final in this big arena. Everything what will happen around is a nice thing for our sport handball – said Vranjes and responded on the question about believing in the team possible to win the medals:
- Honestly, I believed that we can win the medals. They are all great players. I have some playmakers who are among the best in the world, their creativity is fantastic. I thought that we can win medals, but not so fast. This team has a future as well – concluded Vranjes.
