Norway win thriller against Montenegro

Norway – Montenegro 2:1. After two finals in 2012 in London (Olympic Games) and Belgrade (EHF EURO 2012), two great rivals meet at the WCh 2015 quarter-final in Kolding, where 2.800 fans watched Scandinavian win – 26:25 (13:11). Silje Solberg and Nora Mork had the leading roles in the big success of Thorir Hergeirsson team. Montenegrian girs had a big handicap since their defensive specialist and first option on line-player, Suzana Lazovic was directly sent-off in 32nd minute after suspicious foul in attack.

However, Dragan Adzić girls stayed competitive until the last moments of the match, but a few saves of Solberg made the difference…

STATISTICS

Mork netted eight goals in the winning squad, while Radičević and Mehmedović scored six each for Montenegro.

Norway will meet Romania in the semi-final battle on Friday.

    Very bad game girls from Montenegro. Questionable decisions of Slovenian judges. Since the media campaign against Montenegro and Suzana Lazović constantly went on all TV channels in Denmark.exclusion was for two minutes
