READY FOR PSG: Kielce beat Taubate

The reigning VELUX EHF Champions League champions, Vive Tauron Kielce, won the first official battle of the season at the start of the IHF Super Globe 2016. It was everything, just not easy to beat fully motivated and ready Brazilian Taubate 33:30 (21:15), who once again showed progress in comparation with some recent performance.

The first match at Duhail Sports hall in Doha was a good chance for Talant Dujshebaev to try some new forces like goalkeeper Filip Ivic, right wing Darko Djukic, but also to give a chance to Jurkiewicz, Paczkowski and some other guys who didn’t have such a busy summer like the rest of the the team who was devastated by Olympic schedule…

The man of the match was Croatian goalie Filip Ivic who had 10 saves.

Brazilians came on 21:20 after ten minutes of the second half, but Dujshebaev managed to get back control over the match. The Polish champions made 28:22 in just seven minutes from the critical moment, but that wasn’t the end of South American resistance as outsiders came on 31:28 three minutes before the buzzer.

Dujshebaev called time-out on 57:36 to avoid any unpleasant surprise and he did it right as goal of Tobbias Reichmann and another save of Filip Ivić solved the things…

The TOP scorer of the match was Kielce’s right wing Darko Djukic who netted seven goals, same as Teixeira on the other side.
