One of the best Portuguese teams, Sporting CP, presented new right back for the upcoming season 2020/2021.
The 31-years old German shooter Jens Schongarth (31) will be replacement for Serbian lefthander Marko Vujin who left Lisbon in direction Skopje (RK Vardar Skopje).
Jens Schöngarth, played at SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the second part of the last season on loan from HSV Hamburg.
“It is an honor to play for Sporting CP and be part of this family. I have known the Club since I was a child due to football. In the last few years I saw several Sporting CP games in the EHF Champions League and I was always attentive to Portuguese handball because the sport is growing a lot in the country. In the last few years I started to dream about an experience outside Germany and I am looking forward to arriving in Lisbon and being able to be part of this Club. I know some players who play in Portugal because I came here to play. Sporting CP is very big and for me it is very special to be here ”, he assured.
