Spain win thriller against Poland – Denmark put Congo on -20
Handball Gala was the match of Spain and Poland ended 27:26 for the reigning European champions. The Polish team showed a great improvement in comparison with the previous Championship, but Rombel’s young guys stayed one goal behind at the end. Sicko (6) and Olejniczak, left back and playmaker of the Polish team together with the Man of the Match, Adam Morawski between the posts, made a lot of troubles to experienced Spanish squad, who managed to avoid draw like in the first match against Brazil.
