Serbian goalkeeper Strahinja Milic is ready to come back to handball after two years of absence since he surprisingly left RK Vardar Skopje in pre-season 2018/2019.
The 30-years old goalkeeper didn’t want to play in the last two seasons although he had some offers from domestic and foreign teams. He had problems with weight and motivation to play handball at the professional level after six years at RK Vardar Skopje:
- I was stubborn, I had neither the will nor the desire to get myself in order. I didn’t accept that I had to lose weight and I broke up with the club. The kilos ruled, my maximum weight was 216 kilograms, but there were other problems, which I don’t want to talk about because it’s all in the past. The bottom line is that I was not mentally strong – said Milic in interview for 24rakomet.mk.
Milic announced comeback in jersey of RK Partizan Beograd, his first professional team.
