Two matches have been played at Day 1 of the 44th International Handball tournament in Struga. In the opener, Swedish Alingsas and French Chartres have played 24:24. The Swedish runners-up had 24:20 a few minutes before the end, but Bosnian goalie of French side Nebojsa Grahovac brought back his team in the last part of the match for the draw.
Person netted six goals for Swedish team, while Molinie and Eduardo scored seven each for the French team.
In the second match, Macedonian RK Metalurg beat Romanian Steaua 27:21 (14:9). Filip Talevski netted seven goals in Metalurg’s jersey, while Kostadinovic scored six for the defeated Romania team.
