UKRAINIAN HANDBALL REVOLUTION: Motor to TOP 16!

Ukrainian champion Motor Zaporozhe celebrate the first ever TOP 16 placement in the history of this East European country! Hungarian MVM MKB Veszprem suffered the first defeat in VELUX EHF Champions League this season in Harkov – 26:22 (13:13), city linked with the Ukrainian revolution these days. Croatian C.O Zagreb is most unhappy with this result, because Croats lost the place at TOP 16, which was almost secured before sensation in Ukraine. Skopintsev was leading scorer of his team with 5 goals, while Serbian left back Momir Ilic kept the high form again with 6 goals for defeated team…

Motor’s coach Sergei Bebeshko qualified for the TOP 16 second year in a row. Last year he managed to do that with Belarus best team HC Dinamo Minsk.
