German Frisch Auf Goppingen will have to find a new coach after a decade! Succesful German team announced that Bosnian coach Velimir Petkovic (57) will leave the club after the next season – in summer 2014 after ten years on the bench in which Germans won EHF Cup twice. Before Goppingen, Petkovic was a coach of HSG Wetzlar (1998-2004) with great background from his native RK Borac Banja Luka, with whom he won IHF Cup in 1991.

I hope he will go to Göppingen. He did a fantastic job here and we are many fans who want the best for Lars. He is a very nice guy and a very modern coach. You would be very lucky to get a coach like that. Blue and White
