Velimir Petkovic will overtake position of RK Zagreb coach.
The Croatian champions lost six of seven matches of the new EHF Champions League season which forced Andrija Nikolic to resign together with his assistant Ivan Cupic.
Petkovic, on the other side, led Russian national team which is banned from international competition due war in Ukraine.
Born in Banjaluka, Petkovic made brilliant career with RK Borac, HSG Wetzlar, FA Goppingen, Fuchse Berlin. His legacy in German Bundesliga is huge.
