Fantastic first part of 2012 for Serbian Handball, well-organised EHF EURO 2012, silver medal for the “Eagles” and VISA for Olympic Games in London were enough reasons for prolongation of cooperation between Serbian Handball Federation and head coach, Veselin Vukovic. Vukovic took “Eagles” in April, 2010, before the WCh 2011 qualifications matches against Czech Republic. After 10th place in Sweden, in fantastic atmosphere, Serbia wins silver medal at EHF EURO 2012 in front of 20.000 fans in Belgrade.
New contract is on four years base. Vukovic will earn 6.000 EUR monthly, 280.000 in total until 2016 and end of the deal. He will have “free hands” to build team for Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro.
