Fredericia HC sack Gudmundur Gudmundsson

Fredericia Handball Club has dismissed head coach Gudmundur Gudmundsson, who joined the team in 2022.
Although FHK achieved the best results in its history under his leadership – medals, a Final4 appearance, and EHF Champions League experience– the management felt the team lacked spark and joy in their play. With a younger squad now being built, the club decided a different coaching profile is needed.
Assistant coach Jesper Houmark will take charge for the rest of the season, working closely with Michael Wollesen.
Fredericia have 2 points from 4 matches at the start of the Danish championship.
