Ruben Garabaya to lead Besiktas

Spanish coach Ruben Garabaya is set to continue his international career with a move to Istanbul.
Garabaya has accepted a new challenge at Turkish side Besiktas, a club expected to have European ambitions in the coming period.
His last club was North Macedonian champions Eurofarm Pelister, whom he led in the EHF Champions League before deciding to step down at the end of 2025.
During his coaching career, Garabaya has also led Sinfin and Logroño, worked as part of the Egyptian national team’s coaching staff, and had a spell in China.
