Goluza, Gordo and Tamse are candidates for Tunisian bench?

Who will take care of Tunisian national handball team at the upcoming Men’s IHF World Championship 2021 in Egypt, is a question which are trying to find out domestic journalists.

Among the candidates according to domestic media is ex-Croatian national team coach Slavko Goluza, ex-Brazilian NT coach Daniel Gordo and ex-RK Celje PL and RK PPD Zagreb coach Branko Tamse.

The two-times Olympic champion as a player in 1996 and 2004, has led Croatian team as successor or Lino Cervar between 2010 and 2015, winning three bronze medals at EHF EURO 2012, Olympic Games in London 2012 and Men’s IHF World Championship 2013.

Goluza is in the third year of working in the best Slovakian team HC Tatran Presov.

Gordo, former BM Nava coach, worked in Brazil until corona-virus pandemic began.

The last job for Slovenian Branko Tamse was at RK PPD Zagreb. Tamse made a lot of success during his era at RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko.

Spanish coach Toni Gerona was in role of Tunisian coach in the last cycle with winning African gold in 2018 and Mediteranean and African silver in 2018 and 2020.

Gerona is now appointed for Serbian national team coach.
