Lomza Vive Kielce win first trophy under “new name”

Lomza Vive Kielce celebrated the first trophy under the new name. Team of Talant Dujshebaev has won the memorial tournament of Antonio Weryńskie where seven Polish teams and Slovakian Tatran Presov have checked current playing form. Kielce beat Azoty Pulawy 33:27 (16:13) at the final match. French line player Tournat has been the most efficient with eight goals.

It was expected to see “Polish Holy war” between Kielce and Wisla for the trophy, but Polish vice-champions were surprisingly defeated at quarter-final against Stal Mielec after penalty-shootout.
