Masters Handball World Cup 2020 postponed for September 17-20

Another big event in handball world – 4th Masters Handball World Cup is postponed due corona-virus threat from May to September.

Here is the statement of the MHWC 2020:

  • Taking into consideration current situation with corona-virus all over the World which continuously making more and more problems, organizing team of the 4th Masters Handball World Cup 2020 has made decision to postpone event previously planned for May 14-17.

MHWC 2020 is totally aware of the threat for the whole humanity which forced ordinary life to stop in order to be saved. That’s why our decision, like all major sports events in the next two months, is to find the new dates in which our friends from all over the world will come and enjoy in beautiful Omis (Croatia) like in previous years.

Until March 1, over 35 teams from all over Europe, but also Asia (UAE, India), South America (Brazil) and Central America (Honduras) have applied for 4th MHWC 2020. We want to see all of them after this nightmare ends.

The fourth Masters Handball World Cup will be organized between September 17-20, 2020 in the same system – two halls and our MHWC hotel – village.

Keep safe, stay at home and get ready for September’s gathering in Omis!
