Over 6500 Handball Fans Worldwide decided that the Best Handball Player of the World in 2011 is Hungarian right back, Laszlo Nagy (30). One of the biggest Handball star in the last decade of our Sport got the biggest number of votes ahead of rising Danish Top left back, Mikkel Hansen. That was a „dead heat“ between two fantastic players with fantastic seasons from January to December.
Barca’s left handed player had one of the best role at the last EHF F4 in Koln, where his team won the Velux EHF Champions League after six years. In his twelfth season in the biggest city of Catalonia, Nagy became one of the symbol of the biggest Handball Team ever. His last performance in the „Spanish Derby“ against Atletico Madrid, confirmed that Laszlo is vital part of the succesful Barca’s story.
Laszlo Nagy played for Pick Szeged (1997-2000) before he moved to Spain. He had only two teams in his career.
In the opinion of our Jury, seven players (seven positions) deserved to be voted for the World’s Best Player in 2011. They were fantastic and our nomination just confirms that. Handball media, teams and fans all over the Globe show tremendeous interest for the Contest in organisation of Handball-Planet.com . Very interesting week is ahead of our Team. We want to thank to all our visitors and supporters for all efforts and commitment.
