Kim Rasmussen to overtake Hungarian NT?

The person No.1 in the women’s handball world this week, Kim Rasmussen, is strongly linked with overtaking Hungarian national team, write Romanian and Hungarian sports media. The 44-years old Dane made fantastic success with Romanian CSM Bucharest by winning the Women’s EHF Champions League title in Budapest last weekend, but his decision to leave capital of Balkan country was made a few weeks before.

Rasmussen, who also led Polish NT since 2010, decided to leave Poland, when speculations about accepting some other handball challenge, began.

According several sources that would be, always ambitious, Hungarian national team. Negotiations are on the way, and everything has to be formal soon.

Hungary missed to qualify for the Olympic Games in Rio, but that was just a culmination of bad results which began at World Championship 2013 in Serbia. Since then, Hungarian girls are far away from medal podium.
