Toni Gerona about amazing start with Serbia: Nice step forward, next is Greece

Spanish coach Toni Gerona made amazing job with Serbian team in only 10 days of the new campaign. Outsiders in the clashes of the Men’s EHF EURO 2022 qualifications against France, the Serbian “Eagles” won 3 of 4 points which put gave them biggest chances to finish Group (Greece and Belgium are also there) at the first place.
- We are so happy with point in France, of course, it’s not easy. I think that my team deserved both points, but 3 of 4 against big team like France is nice step forward. We will now prepare for match against Greece. We showed that with good defense it is possible to get positive result against anyone – said Gerona.
